Responsible Firearm Owners Not just the next step in owning a firearm, but a path. |
From the FounderFirst I would like to thank you for giving your most valuable asset, time, and having a look at what we are offering at Responsible Firearm Owners. I hope you find that RFO is more than another firearm training school, as it was born from a belief system, and grown from passion. I've been extremely fortunate to have had the exposure to the number of experiences that I have had through my choice of career. During this time I have met many people and seen many things, some good and others less than that. It has been my experience that we are typically reactive rather than proactive, and most see proactive as over reactive. No one wants to be wrong, and everyone wants to be right. I can go on, but I think you get my point. There have been some great programs that have come from even greater tragedies; America's Most Wanted, Megan's Law, the Amber Alert etc. Without equating, nor comparing to the later, RFO is intended to be proactive regarding our second amendment right and privilege to keep and bear arms, and not wait until our most basic rights to protect our selves are in jeopardy. RFO is focused on knowledge and education, dedicated to accountability with responsibility being first and foremost. Whether on the left, in the middle or on the right, RFO attempts to speak into the listening of responsible and accountable Americans. You don't have to be pro-gun to understand the focus of RFO, all you should understand is responsibility and accountability. We should all be allowed the means to immediately protect our selves from all forms of threats of personal loss, things in our society that we think could never happen to us. That right, privilege and obligation transcends the firearm and is the goal of RFO, and the firearm is merely a tool to help us gain the ability and confidence to do that. Thank you for your kind attention, your interest and support. James Sterling
